MyDomaine for Crate & Barrel

Crate and Barrel was looking for a destination to showcase some of their products on MyDomaine.com, so we pitched this concept for a curated list of “Must Have’s” to be hand selected by MyDomaine Editors. I was given a day to conceptualize and mock up how we might bring this idea to life.
In designing this page my goal was to create an inviting user experience that would reflect our understanding of Crate & Barrel’s brand and show our ability to deliver on their campaign goals. To ground the page in the theme of Spring, I used custom illustrations of flowers and flying insects, and some subtle collage in creamy tones from MyDomaine’s color palette. I looked for where MyDomaine can meet Crate & Barrel stylistically, and chose hand lettering paired with gold serif type to make the page feel elegant and personal.
