To help Best Buy promote some of their home appliances, we pitched an idea for a “choose your adventure” destination that would illustrate real testimonials on 3 kinds of products they offer. This page is designed to engage users who are looking for either a washer dryer, refrigerator, or oven, and make sure Best Buy is the place where they make their purchase.


This series is designed to position Best Buy as uniquely helpful and clear about what the appliances can do and how the experience is when using them.
In one day, we mocked up this series concept using one custom landing page with navigation each of 3 pages that would be built from one of our core modular templates.
Working with Templates:
At Dotdash, our templates allow us to build pages quickly using ready-made, modular components. This can be limiting to the design process, so I try to be creative in treating each image placement like a blank canvas, and looking for ways to use negative space to unite visuals.
